Power Point Show about Someone Important
that You Know!
Please create a power point show about someone important that you know.
You should include information about them and photographs of things that
you they are interested in. Ask them if they have pictures you could use
that could be scanned. Below are examples of things you could include
in your show. The show should be have many slides in it. You will probably
need at least 20 slides. Think of it as telling a story about them.
Suggestions for Things You Could Include In Your Show:
- Information about where they were born, how old they are, where they
live.
- Poems, short stories, or song lyrics that they wrote.
- Baby pictures of them.
- Other pictures
of them doing things that you like to do or are good at.
- Family Pictures
- Slide Transitions: There are a number of different motions that slides
can take as you switch from one slide to another. Details
- Text motion: There are a number of different motions that your text
can take. Details
- Sounds that are heard when you change slides or when text is added
to the show. Details
You will need to Interview Them to find out Information
Create a MS Word doc that will include questions that you will use to
interview them. Below are the questions that are required to ask them.
You will also need to come up with some questions yourself.

Required Questions
- What school they are in or where kind of job do they have.
- Where were they born and where do they currently live.
- How old are they.
- Who are the members of their family. For example, are they married,
who their parents are, do they have brothers and sisters, pets, and
other interesting information.
Questions to ask yourself about the slide show
- Does your show tell an interesting story about them?
- Is it long enough? You should have around 20 slides.
- Does it include slide transitions?
- Does it include text transitions?
- Does it include sounds?
