MS Access Database Directions

  1. Open MSAccess

  2. Click on the Blank Access Database then click OK

  3. Save it in your grade directory and call it something like
    classresearchdatabase.mdb

    class database suggested name

  4. Click on Design

  5. Type in one of your categories from you class research such as favorite subject . Say NO when it asks if you want to creat a primary key. Then close that window.

  6. Double click on your table that you just created.

  7. Enter in the data results from your class data sheet just like you did for your worksheets in Excel.

  8. Follow steps 1-5 for ALL FOUR CATEGORIES from your class data categories/graphs that you put on your cdrom research page. You should end up with 4 database tables in your database.
