About This Site
The graphic images on this site were created using Adobe Photoshop. The background
image is a scene of mars that I cropped and changed the colors on and size
of to create a soft brown background image that would be in harmony with the
other colors and images on the site. The title banner is a compilation that
was created by Robert Lamothe. I also copied a section of the mars landscape
image and pasted it into my banner at the top of the site in it's own separate
layer. I then changed the opacity of that layer to 27%. The sphere image in
the banner also was selected from a picture of mars using the spherical selection
tool and pasted into the banner. I then altered some of the colors and changed
the opacity of that layer to 675. The background image for the Power Point
show is a compilation image of the mars landscape and the image of the whole
mars planet. The original images came from a Yahoo search on Images for "mars".came
from a Nasa site: http://space.jpl.nasa.gov/art/surfaces.html
Description of the original mars landscape image:
This image is rendered from the surface of Mars, with the Pathfinder spacecraft
seen resting on the surface. During the JPL open house, the public gets to
stand in front of a bluescreen, be photographed with a digital camera, placed
in this picture, and receive a color hard copy to take home with them. By

Web Pages on this site were created by Robert Lamothe as well as other images. Screen captures were done with Paint Shop Pro 7.0. Some of the pages were newly created and some were existing from previous lessons that I had done with Web Development Classes.
