Installing Printers

To be used for install of network printers on w2k workstations and allows
anyone who logs onto that computer to see the printer.

Procedure for Windows 2000 Clients:
First install the printer on the school's FP server and name it. (should
already be done) Go to the workstation and start the install as a LOCAL
printer, but when you get to the port, "create a new port" and name it
\\servername\printername example \\snowden-fp\lAB-4000 or \\haley-fp\SPED293. I attached a
printscreen. Follow normal steps for adding a printer, when asked about
sharing, DO NOT SHARE the printer. Make sure you get a test page and test
it by logging on as a user that HASN'T logged on before, to see if they see
it.

For Windows 2000 workstations, this makes the printer specific to the PC
rather than the user.
